Awatoru Property LP was established in 2023 by 3Group and ACC to go about developing, and holding for the long term, industrial and commercial property in the Golden Triangle regions of Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty with the intention and objective of creating a large scale income generating property portfolio.
Awatoru Property have already successfully a 15,000sqm distribution centre for Asmuss Steel in Drury, and are now underway with their second project in Wiri, with a further third project under contract.
About ACC Investments
ACC manages their investments so to ensure that they can meet all the future costs of injuries that have already happened, without the need for New Zealanders to pay more levies for these claims in the future. Investment returns have contributed $32 billion to the ACC scheme in the past 10 years, and there is currently over $50 billion under management. As an established institutional landlord, ACC’s existing real estate portfolio is valued at over $900 million.
